Last Saturday, Quarrybank Boutique Bathrooms hosted yet another successful community event, this time, to celebrate good times.
Given the showroom turned 1 year old recently, we invited our community in to share what we have achieved so far and to enjoy champagne and cakes on us. It was also a great opportunity for us to show off our newly refurbished displays to the public and for the public, to meet the whole team.
We could not believe how lucky we were with the weather as the morning of Saturday showed heavy rain. With a bit of collective positive thinking from all of us, by the time we opened the door, the sun was out and it stayed hot for the whole day. Thank you Universe for supporting us!
We welcomed over 600 people to our showroom and over 350 children took part in our competition to guess how many beach balls were in the bathtub. Let’s be clear now, we hid 22 balls in Tissino’s Angelo bath. Over 350 people entered and we had only 3 correct guesses!
So…………
1st Prize – Roper Rhodes mirror worth over £200 goes to Becki with a mobile number ending 062.
2nd Prize – a pampering set by Land & Water goes to Jayne with a mobile number ending 805.
3rd Prize – a bluetooth speaker by Schlueter goes to David with a mobile number ending 656.
Congratulations all!
We had Stormtroopers and Worcester’s Bob the Boiler which proved to be a total hit with the kids, although some took the costume for a giant tooth!
Everyone was hands on. Our 11 year old Vinnie was the quiz master whilst Chris, the showroom manager was hosting the families inside. Steven, The Director was on balloons duties whilst Kora, the Co-Owner was chatting to pedestrians, inviting them in. Our apprentice Jon, hid behind the boiler costume and admitted, it was a great work experience! Fantastic efforts by our team and we are so proud of us working so well together.
It was the most fabulous day. We loved hearing that most of our community already use our services in one form or another yet we met many new families, very happy to learn about what we have to offer. The admiration of our displays was visible and Cheshire citizens were curious to learn about the inspiration behind our choices.
We run out of champagne and cakes, and the whole of Wilmslow was covered in Quarrybank balloons.
Special thanks to Paula Ankers, for being our photographer for the day, and Roper Rhodes and Schlutter for supporting us with prizes.
Our next event is planned for September, with a very special autumn theme and live artists. Stay tuned!
Love, Kora x
